Title: Business Projects Internship
Location: Shanghai
Direct Supervisor: Program Manager, Yangtze River Delta Program
Duties:
·
Research into tier 2 markets in the Yangtze River Delta region
·
Build and maintain a program specific membership, resources,
and contact database
·
Assist Program Manager with the planning and implementation of
focus groups and market surveys
·
Write short briefs and reports, working with the Program
Manager on writing articles for AmCham’s monthly Insight Magazine
·
Assist Program Manager in program planning and idea generation
for business development models
·
Attend AmCham events and other relevant programs to map
industry topics and issues
·
Maintain program web-pages, may include writing summarized or
original content
·
Track member requests through organization of e-mail and phone inquiries
·
Support programs and initiatives assigned to the department
Selection Criteria:
·
Native English or near native English preferred with excellent
interpersonal and communication skills; Chinese language ability a plus.
·
Computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite including Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook/Exchange and other related programs, graphic
design aptitude and internet literacy a plus.
·
Degree in International Relations, Political Science,
Economics, Business, Communications or related discipline
·
Demonstrated ability and experience in researching, writing,
processing and packaging information to meet the needs of a range
of internal and external audiences and stakeholders.
·
Creative ability to introduce new ideas, demonstrate
enthusiastic attitudes in working with people and anticipate needs
in various situations
